Soothing ingredients like aloe vera, bisabolol, and shea butter make it well-suited for sensitive skin. If your skin has strong opinions, this was formulated with that in mind.
Yes. Our formula uses lightweight, low-comedogenic plant oils — jojoba, sweet almond, and coco-caprylate — that are well-tolerated by most skin types.
Yes. Zinc oxide has natural anti-inflammatory properties that may benefit acne-prone skin. If you have an active breakout or a specific condition, patch test first.
sunsei avoids the chemical UV filters most flagged for hormonal concerns, making it a safer choice for children 6 months and older. For infants under 6 months, we recommend sun avoidance and protective clothing over any sunscreen.
sunsei contains no oxybenzone, avobenzone, or homosalate — the chemical filters most commonly flagged for hormonal disruption. Zinc oxide is widely considered one of the safest sunscreen actives during pregnancy. That said, consult your healthcare provider.

Yes. sunsei is water-resistant per FDA standards. That said, always reapply after swimming, heavy sweating, or toweling off. Water-resistant doesn't mean it lasts forever.

sunsei tubes are made with 43% post-consumer recycled plastic. Our goal is to make a product as environmentally friendly as possible. We're actively monitoring better alternatives — but paper and most other materials simply aren't suitable for sunscreen yet.
